On Thursday, September 28, 2006, at approximately 12:00pm PDT (September 28 - 7:00PM GMT), we will be deploying a publish to the Pacific shard.

The update will contain the following changes:

* Shard stability fix
* Live event content

We expect the Pacific shard to remain offline for approximately one hour.

Since last week’s Week in Review (Sep 11 - 18) was well received, we are going to continue this series, and we are going to keep the same format - brief, one-line descriptions of each major news story from the previous week. Just an FYI, The Inu Wiki has seen so much traffic that they moved it to its own host, now located at www.InuWiki.com. The original site at BritanniaCartel.com will not be updated.

From the site owner, in a post on Stratics:

Yes, due to the tremendous amount of people viewing the wiki I needed to change hosts. Since it was included I also got a new domain name, http://www.inuwiki.com

Now to phase it so everyone will be getting the most current information, I will be putting links at the top of each page of the old site telling everyone of the move. That way if you have any individual page inside the wiki bookmarked it will let you know we’ve moved.

I will not be updating the old site, so the content will not be up to date, but soon I will have each link redirect to the new site, so people that don’t make new bookmarks will still get to the current information.

If there is any other way anyone can think to make for a smooth transition post in this thread, PM me, or ICQ me @8943010.

Also, as always, suggestions are more than welcome! Let me know what you’d like to see added or modified.

Saax Pannae of the Britannia News Network has just learned the following:

The cities of Britannia were informed by dispatch this morning that Casca of Heartwood has been placed in charge of the trial of Ricardo. Readers may remember that Casca has recently made a name for himself in the courts system by being amongst the first elves to participate in our modern legal system.

The Court of Justice in Yew has declared that Casca was a natural choice per his previous service to the kingdom in lighter matters of state and political issues. His lack of criminal experience is balanced, they say, by his impartiality in the matter as Heartwood was left unaffected by the Ophidian attacks.

Casca has publicly asked those with information concerning the Ricardo’s crimes, or who wish to assist the kingdom in preparing its case, to step forward and speak with him in Yew.

Ricardo couldn’t be reached for comment on this development, as he is under heavy guard in Trinsic while awaiting extradition.

Emily the Bloody entered Ricardo’s Cave on Europa, and posted the information as well as some great screenshots, in this F4G.net thread. At times the server appears to be down - it’s taking a beating apparently, a lot of UO players are very curious about these items. Try back later if you are curious to see.

Update: The only lootable items: Ricardo’s shoes, hat and a painting (and apparently these are a one-on-a-shard item - once somebody finds them, that’s it).

Update #2 Somebody has posted a list of passwords in this Stratics thread if you want to check out Ricardo’s hideout.

Ricardo, notorious thief and scoundrel, is hereby and forthwith declared an enemy of the state. As such, he is wanted for immediate detention and questioning concerning the events leading up to and culminating in the Ophidian War.

He is described as a flamboyant, charismatic man, of average height and build, brown eyes, and brown hair of average length. He should be considered extremely dangerous. Citizens are urged to report any and all information concerning his whereabouts to the Sheriff of Trinsic.
